About Us:
Hello! My name is Zachary Runyan, but I go by Zach. Nice to meet you!

I decided to open my own CPA firm (licensed by the state of Colorado to provide attest and non-attest work to the general public) to use my knowledge and experience to help people with their accounting & tax needs, whether that is personal or business. Our objective is to provide quality solutions meaning that you can be as hands on (or off) as you would like. I am a down-to-earth person who calls it like it is. I believe in honesty and not just selling you something you don't need.

My CPA firm is virtual; this means most initial consults and client meetings will take place over zoom or teams. I will meet at your place of business or in the community, if local within 30-50 miles from Canon City, Colorado. Plans for a dedicated office space are anticipated for 2026. Until then, meetings in person at the physical business location (my personal residence) are by appointment only. Although my business location is my primary residence, I have a dedicated and secure office space separate from my house.

Since we are a licensed CPA firm in Colorado, our primary focus are individuals and businesses located in Colorado. That said, as a virtual firm we are able to provide services to individuals and businesses in other states in a remote setting. If you have a need and you live in another state, please reach out. We are limited in some of the services that I can provide across state lines (depending on the state). Click here to learn more about the states that we can provide services in.
Small business owners, medium to large sized businesses:
We understand the unique challenges of being a business owner and running a business. We typically work with businesses ranging from start-ups to medium/large-sized businesses (less than $30 million revenue yearly). If you need bookkeeping, accounting, consulting/advisory, payroll, or tax return prep/planning reach out and let's talk!
"Simple" Tax Returns and more:
We are happy to prepare your individual tax return that only has W2's/1099's or other simple schedules. If your tax return is a little more complex with items such as rental income, stocks, employee stock options, business income, and/or capital gains then please feel free to reach out!

Trusts and Estates:
We do limited work with trusts and estates, if you have a need though reach out and we will see how we can help you (or get you to the right professional that can help you!).
Do it yourself:
We love teaching and explaining accounting/business/tax. We are willing to work with you, if you want to do a portion of the work. This could mean you pay the bills and/or complete payroll, and we record and categorize the transactions. You could even do everything and just need some help/training and tax return prep. Wherever you are on your journey, we are happy to be of assistance and provide our services.
